Who we are
makan.design was created as a fully integrated turnkey interior experiences firm, one of the few in Saudi Arabia that owns the full process from research to handover. Our Dammam studio works as an interior architect office and a build team in one.
Most design-build firms are contractors who added a design department. We’re the opposite: a design-led practice with deep branding and UX expertise that built a full construction capability. The design intelligence came first. The build capability serves it. That’s what design-driven interiors means to us.
That order matters. It’s why the space you approve is the space you get.
Interior experience design starts with how people feel and behave in a space, not only how it looks. It brings together three things most projects treat separately: your brand, the people who use the space, and the architecture and build that hold it together.
